Clarkes was formed in 1968 by Nobby Clarke and his son Tim, and its original location was in North Street, Romford. In 1972 the shop relocated to the premises on Roneo Corner allowing us to offer a greater range of both products and services. At this point the quest began to become the Finest Carpet Store in the World. After many years of effort, listening to both suppliers and customers, it is hard to find any of them who would disagree that we are very close to achieving this goal if we have not already!!
